Sagittarius ♐ August 2020 Horoscope: Love, Money & Career

Whether Venus had spent four months or the 24 days she will normally spend in your relationship sector, she was always going to have to cross the lunar nodes before leaving your relationship sector on 8th August. This has been the fate of every planet that has returned to your relationship sector in 2020 or will do in 2021 as well since the lunar nodes returned to police a balance between your personal and relationship needs in early May. The North Node is now positioned in your relationship sector and the South Node in Sagittarius until January 2022.

There has been no planetary activity in Sagittarius since they returned but the Sun, Mercury and now Venus have all had to cross the North Node and oppose the South Node before leaving your relationship sector and the timing couldn’t be better. This will happen just as the Moon is not only moving through your communication sector from 3rd August to 5th August but as it is creating a Full Moon on 4th August. There was always going to be the danger of personal and/or relationship tension rising during Venus’ final days but after four months this was key to leaving you with a better sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you.

Thanks to the Moon there is also a chance for a communication breakthrough as well. Meanwhile, Venus will take off her planet of love had as she leaves and don her planet of money hat, as she returns to your financial sector in order to take over from where Mercury leaves off on 5th August. As the last planet to move through your financial sector this year and with the hard work done, Venus will work to create financial potential. Meanwhile, Mercury will join the Sun in a playful part of your chart just as Mars is settling into his longest visit to an adventurous part in 32 years. Life is going to become a lot more exciting this month, while good things will be happening across the income, work and career fronts by the end of the month.

LoveSagittarius August 2020 Love Horoscope

This is an important month on both the romantic and relationship fronts and also a month when on both fronts the real intentions of the forces in play are revealed. What is even more revealing is that the intentions on both sides are the same, with the truth being revealed being that they are here to stay. It was in early April that Venus, the planet of love returned for what should have been a 24 day visit to your relationship sector while it was on 28th June that Mars returned for what should be a six week visit to your romantic sector. Held back by a retrograde phase Venus will leave on 8th August but as she moves aside the North Node will step into the limelight and here until January 2020, will declare that relationship support will continue.

Meanwhile, on 9th August, the same day that the North Node will be in its first full day on his own in your relationship sector and is exposing the fact that relationship support will endure, Mars will have been in your romantic sector for six weeks. However, instead Mars is slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn next month that will keep him here until January. Just as the North Node is exposing the reality that relationship support is here to stay, it becomes clear that Mars is here to stay as well. This is when you will start to wake up to the real implications from Mars’ longest visit in 32 years.

This will become especially apparent around 17th August and the days either side. This is when the Sun and Mercury not only align in an adventurous part of your chart but move into a friendly aspect to Mars at the same time. Since the Sun’s return last month there has been a mix of romance, passion and adventure in the air but this is when it will peak. This will also be potent when the Moon moves through your romantic sector from 8th August to 10th August, with these romantically charged lunar vibes also forming a friendly aspect to the Sun and Mercury.

MoneySagittarius August 2020 Money Horoscope

Both sides of the financial fence not only recover from last month’s financial tension but emerge all the better for it. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in your financial sector but this year it had spent the last 10 days in conflict to all three planets in your income sector, which are becoming a tight bunch. While the Sun has clashed with Pluto each year since he returned to your income sector in 2008 and with Saturn since 2008, but not at the same time and not with Jupiter in the mix as well. This exposed any balance issues between money coming in and money going out before tension dropped back.

Held back by a retrograde phase last month, instead of rushing through Mercury stayed on and it is his smart head for money that swung into action once the Sun left. Mercury will leave on 5th August with Venus, the planet of money returning on 8th August to explore and exploit as the financial potential created over recent months. Mercury will clash with all three planets in your income sector before leaving but his smart head for money will turn this into an opportunity to address any remaining balance issues. While Venus will restore order on the financial side of the fence it is the professional conditions that restore order on the income side.

It begins with Mercury’s return to your career sector on 20th August, followed by the Sun’s return on 23rd August. After clashing with all three planets in your income sector they will then go on to form a friendly aspect to those same three planets, along with Uranus in your work sector. This will begin what will be the best most of 2020 across the income, work and career fronts, with any remaining financial tension at the start of the month turning into motivation again. With Jupiter and Saturn both in their last full month in retrograde motion, they will be looking to use this to get better access to untapped income potential.

CareerSagittarius August 2020 Career Horoscope

Professionally and financially this is a month of two halves, with 20th August the dividing line between the two. Until then Uranus, the only planet in either of your two professional houses is slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn in your work sector on 16th August. Uranus is a slow outer planet and in the first full year of a nearly seven year visit was never keeping work and job matters in the fast lane. Since returning last March and until leaving in 2026, Uranus will turn retrograde in August and then spend the rest of the year in review mode.

However, it is what happens four days later that changes the dynamics of the month and of this professional and financial year. While Uranus will still go into review mode, Mercury’s return to your career sector on 20th August and the Sun’s return on 23rd August will open new doors on the career front for the first time this year, kicking off the best months of 2020 across the income, work and career fronts. The reason why this doesn’t just change the professional dynamics but the financial dynamics as well is that until the Sun left your financial sector last month and Mercury on 5th August, they put a lot of pressure on all three planets in your income sector.

As first Mercury and then the Sun return to your career sector, after first forming a friendly aspect to Uranus in your work sector they will then go on to form the same friendly aspect to all three planets in your income sector. By the end of the month, this will be starting to make an impact, with the conditions improving even more across the income, work and career fronts in September but improving again in October. The Sun and Mercury might return to your career sector at the time every year but having lucky Jupiter in your income sector for the first time in 12 years is just one of the added bonuses this year.
