Sagittarius ♐ April 2020 Horoscope: Love, Money & Career

This is a month for seeking out those born in fellow Fire signs, whether that be those born in Sagittarius as well or those born in Leo or Aries, for you all have a common phenomenon taking place this month. This is a huge surge in focus on social connecting and on communication, personal and professional networking, friendship and relationship building in general. That this comes at a time in history that is all about social distancing is no barrier at all, for the Fire signs of the world will be united in their mission to find creative ways to connect, either in small numbers or through technology.

As three of the 12 Star signs are Fire signs that means that with a quarter of the planet leading this charge, the rest of us are likely to be following your lead. For each of the three Fire signs, this is being led by the energising of the three ‘social’ areas of the chart. For each is coming from a different place it is being led by Venus, Mars, Saturn and a conveniently placed Full Moon on 8th April. For you, this is being led by Venus’ return to your relationship sector on 4th April and the start of a four month visit, just as Mars and Saturn are spending their first full month together in your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking since 1994.

It is a Full Moon in your communication sector on 8th April and its link to Juno that will bring the queen of commitment and especially commitment to your relationships into the game. This comes just as things are settling down on the income and job fronts in a way that is evening out the highs and lows while creating plenty of potential on both fronts. With the Sun always spending the first three weeks of April in a playful part of your chart and Mercury there from 11th April to 28th April, this will ensure life doesn’t become all work and no play.

LoveSagittarius April 2020 Love Horoscope

It is a given that the focus will be on matters of the heart this month, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of April in your romantic sector. This is a time of year when the solar spotlight is always on matters of the heart so this is no surprise. Even though the Sun will be gone by 20th April, with Mercury returning on 11th April and then spending until 28th April working to give your heart a voice and to put heart and mind on the same page, matters of the heart will still be supported. It is on the relationship front that the real surprises come and yes, that is ‘surprises’ and not ‘surprise’.

The biggest surprise is Venus, the planet of love’s return to your relationship sector on 4th April. With the Sun not returning until later next month and Venus having not returned until June in 2019, to have Venus return this early in the year is not the norm. This is where the second surprise comes in because Venus has not only returned to your relationship sector earlier than she normally would, she has returned as early as she is allowed to. This will force Venus to wait for the Sun and she will do that by turning retrograde next month, spending four months here rather than the usual 24 days. But wait, there is more.

The biggest surprise is what Venus finds when she returns, which is a built in support team. Venus returns to find Saturn and Mars in your communication sector, Saturn for the first time since 1994 and Mars for the first time since 2018. Together this doesn’t just give your first visit but some of the most powerful communication support in decades. This will be evident from the get go, with Venus spending her early days here at a friendly aspect to Saturn. Venus will also return to find Juno, queen of commitment and especially commitment to your relationships not only in your friendship sector but here until September. This will provide support for friendship and relationship building throughout Venus’ four month visit.

There is a change of pace on the income front this month that is both easier and more productive. Both Saturn and Mars left your income sector in the last 10 days of March, taking the fastest and the slowest horses in the field out of the race. Mars was running a sprint and Saturn a marathon, leaving behind Jupiter and Pluto to maintain a steady pace. Pluto will turn retrograde on 26th April and Jupiter next month so both are slowing down. You also have the planets of luck and change aligned during the first six days of the month, bringing home the fact that they are both working in unison.

Pluto is the planet of change and revolution and Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion but with Pluto here until 2024, Jupiter until December and both slowing down ahead of retrograde turns, they are both in this for the long haul. You no longer have Saturn demanding that you measure twice and cut once but then you no longer have Mars wanting everything to happen now. Until Venus leaves your work sector on 4th April she will continue to steer work and job matters in a lucrative direction, something the Sun will benefit from when he returns on 20th April and Mercury on 28th April.

On both the income and job fronts this creates a month where there is every reason for confidence on the income and job fronts but with Uranus in your work sector until 2026, on both fronts the planets are playing a long game. What you don’t have are the highs and lows or spikes but whatever your income situation or potential now, you can expect a slow and steady rise, before taking a sharp upward curve towards the end of the year. In today’s economic climate, this is putting a protective bubble around you and especially around your income potential.

CareerSagittarius April 2020 Career Horoscope

It is a given that the Sun will always return to your work sector in April and the month will always end with the solar spotlight on your work situation, job matters and options. While that is still the case, unlike most years before Uranus’ return in March 2019, things never quite go off the boil. Uranus is an outer planet and here until 2026, his focus is on keeping things real, on track and moving in the right direction. However, here for the next six years, he will largely operate in the background. Uranus is responsibile for unexpected, serendipitous or eureka moments.

It was Venus’ return last month that kicked off the more active months of this professional year on the job front but at the same time has spread things out. The only planets that will visit your work sector this year, apart from Uranus who is here all year are the Sun, Mercury and Venus. More often than not they will be here at the same time, sometimes creating a short, sharp active period of less than five weeks. Even though Venus will ultimately spend 30 days in your work sector, six days more than she normally would, her departure on 4th April means she will have been and gone by the time the Sun even returns on 20th April.

It is in the final 10 days of the month that a lot of things will start coming together on the job front. It begins with the Sun’s return but will become more active when the Moon not only returns to your work sector from 23rd April to 25th April, with a New Moon in its early hours creating an opportunity for new beginnings. A New Moon can create a lot of forward momentum, as well as giving work and job matters the green light. It is on 28th April that Mercury will return with the intellectually savvy edge needed to work smarter, get your head in the game, ideas on the table and the communication lines open.
