Sagittarius ♐ January 2021 Horoscope: Love, Money & Career

There is likely to be a new sense of excitement and anticipation as you move into 2021, feeling that this is going to be a good year. While we will all benefit from the major reset that Jupiter and Saturn’s shift late last year has created you will experience the most wide ranging impact. That is because Saturn and Jupiter returned to and are spending their first full month in your communication sector, which can be seen as the ‘Swiss army knife’ area of your chart, with a tool for every purpose. This is not just about communication and while this does make 2021 a stunning year for all aspects of communication it is much more than that.

This is a smart, intellectually savvy and articulate part of your chart and here until 2023, Saturn’s resolve and determination will give you a lot of mental stamina and resilience, making it easier to stay mentally focused while Jupiter will help you to think big. Saturn doesn’t shy away from the tough stuff, giving you the ability to approach challenging conversations with a lot more courage and resilience. Any area of your life that can benefit from open communication lines, the ability to think big and stay mentally focused will benefit, which is why Saturn and Jupiter’s return will have a more wide ranging impact on your life than for your cosmic mates. If you ever wanted to write a book or start a blog, this is the year.

Meanwhile, while Saturn and Jupiter left your income sector last month, rather than income potential dropping off this is when you are likely to start reaping the rewards. A combination of the Sun in your income sector until 20th January, Venus returning on 9th January and Mars finally returning to your work sector on 7th January will see the year get off to a good start on the income and job fronts. Until then, Venus will be making the most of her final days in Sagittarius to give your heart a voice while Mars will be making the most of his final days in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart.

LoveSagittarius January 2021 Love Horoscope

While January is an important month on the romantic and relationship fronts it is for different reasons, with your relationships benefiting indirectly and romantic matters more directly. On the romantic front, it is all about making the most of Mars’ final days in your romantic sector, with his longest visit in 32 years finally coming to an end on 7th January. Mars returned in June for what should have been a six week mission to fuel your romantic passions and fighting spirit. Instead, a two month retrograde phase kept Mars here for the whole second half of 2020 and now the first seven days of 2021.

This has given Venus, held back by her own retrograde phase earlier last year, time to return to Sagittarius before Mars left, something that she did just before Christmas. With Venus in Sagittarius until 9th January, the year starts with the planets of love and passion and the cosmic lovers, working as a team to get things off to a romantically charged start. While Venus will leave Sagittarius within 48 hours of Mars’ departure from your romantic sector, even with the momentum they have created matters of the heart would be in safe hands. Instead with the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos turning direct in your romantic sector on 11th January, she can take it from here.

The Moon’s visit to your romantic sector from 18th January to 21st January will give Eris a helping hand. Meanwhile, while there is no planetary activity in your relationship sector you do have the North Node keeping things on track. However, it is the indirect help that your relationships are getting from the extraordinary amount of planetary activity in your communication sector that is more important than direct activity. Jupiter and Saturn’s return to your communication sector last month was game changing enough but Mercury, the planet of communication will return to your communication sector on 9th January for what should be a 14 to 15 day visit but won’t leave until March.

MoneySagittarius January 2021 Money Horoscope

The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of January in your income sector but everything about the start of this new financial year is different and exciting. It was Saturn and Jupiter’s departure just before Christmas that in the space of just three days took these powerful planets out of the game, taking away the heavy and serious focus on building for the future while leaving you with all the benefits. The Sun and Mercury returned just over 24 hours after Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion left, so were there to capture the untapped income potential and momentum created while distancing themselves from everything until now.

Because Jupiter and Saturn had left by the time the Sun and Mercury returned on 21st December, albeit by just over 24 hours, this was a chance for a fresh start and because they are here for weeks and not years, their focus is on exploiting potential now. Saturn had returned in 2017 and Jupiter in 2019 so their focus was always on building for the future but with the seeds Jupiter has planted and the determination to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes now being directed on making things happen now. While Mercury will leave on 9th January, he will leave you with a smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game.

It is just hours after Mercury leaves that Venus, the planet of money will return and this is when she will begin what can be the most lucrative weeks of any year. Returning with so much potential and with the Sun keeping the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options until leaving on 20th January, the conditions couldn’t be more ideal. While Venus will return later in the year and the last two months of 2021 could be even more lucrative, returning two days after Mars’ return to your work sector on 7th January this will get the year off to a lucrative start.

CareerSagittarius January 2021 Career Horoscope

While there is plenty of momentum on the income front and has been for some time, the one thing missing is any kind of professional momentum. It has been months since the last planet left your career sector and Uranus has been on his own and in retrograde motion in your work sector since August. However, that is about to change and it comes just as there is a chance to push the ‘reset’ button on the income front. The first hint at the professional change ahead will come when the Moon makes its first visit to your career sector for the year from 3rd January to 5th January. While Uranus is still in retrograde motion in your work sector a friendly aspect to him and to the Sun and Mercury in your income sector will create positive conditions across the income, work and career fronts.

With your professional instincts and imagination fuelled, this is when you will start picking up on a sense of anticipation, for it is just two days after the Moon leaves that everything changes. The game changer is Mars’ return to your work sector on 7th January. Held back by a retrograde phase that preventing Mars from returning in 2020, his return to your work sector will see the warrior planet of the cosmos ready to make up for lost time, make things happen and get things done. Still not fully up to speed after his direct turn in November, instead of rushing through in six weeks, Mars will remain here until March.

It is Venus’ return to your income sector on 9th January and friendly aspect to Mars in her early days that will help to draw the resources in play on the income and job fronts together. However, it is a week after Mars’ return that Uranus’ direct turn in your work sector on 14th January will release the final brake holding things back. This will give you seven days to adjust to having the warrior planet of the cosmos here before the pace starts to pick up. Uranus would have kept things on idle until the Sun returns in April but that is not Mars’ style.
