This is a month when the lines between the past, present and future are set to become even more blurred and not just because of the number of planets in retrograde motion this month. As well as Jupiter spending his first full month in retrograde motion in your relationship sector you have Saturn in his first and only full month in retrograde motion in your financial sector, Venus in retrograde motion in a nostalgic part of your chart until 25th June, Mercury turning retrograde in Cancer on 18th June and Neptune in an adventurous part on 23rd June. Yet where old doors are opening, in many cases new doors are opening as well.
When Neptune turns retrograde in an adventurous part of your chart on 23rd June he will turn his attention and your imagination onto the past, with a chance to reflect on the bucket list you began the year with. Often this is more a case of wishful thinking but with Mars here until 28th June, his passion for adventure makes it hard to be an armchair tourist in your own life. With Mars not only returning to your career sector on 28th June but spending the whole second half of the year here, he will be anxious to do what he can to ensure life doesn’t become all work and no play. For while you will have to wait four weeks for Mars’ return, a lunar eclipse on the job front on 6th June will get the month off to a good start professionally.
Another example of where both new and old doors are opening at the same time is on the personal front. Mercury will turn retrograde in Cancer on 18th June, just three days before your birthday month and new solar year are due to begin on 21st June. However, the Sun won’t be on his own, with the Moon not only returning a few hours later but aligning to create a solar eclipse in the first day of your birthday month and new solar year. A solar eclipse can open new doors or bring unexpected new beginnings, at a time when Mercury is just one of many planets holding the doors open to the past and second chances.
Cancer June 2020 Love Horoscope
Just having Venus in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart is going to create a sense of romantic nostalgia, but even more so with the planet of love in retrograde motion until 25th June. Venus returned in early April for what should have been a 24 day nostalgic trip down love’s memory lane, with a chance to close old doors and dance with some old ghosts before returning to Cancer to open new doors. Venus’ early arrival is the reason why she is still here, with a retrograde turn allowing her to wait for the Sun to catch up. Instead of spending just 24 days here, Venus won’t leave and return to Cancer until August.
Until Venus turns direct on 25th June it is all about looking to the past before turning your attention back onto the future, though still with a nostalgic filter. By the time Venus turns direct your birthday month and new solar year will be underway, while a solar eclipse on 21st June will open new doors. The Moon will make two visits to your romantic sector this month and they are likely to be different experiences. The month will begin with the Moon in your romantic sector, with this first and only visit while Venus is in retrograde motion amplifying a sense of romantic nostalgia. These romantically charged lunar vibes will be an opportunity to make the most of the doors open to the past and second chances.
By the time the Moon comes full circle on 30th June Venus will have been in direct motion for five days, with these romantically charged lunar vibes picking up on the romantic nostalgia that is still here but also more focused on the future. Meanwhile, with Jupiter spending his first full month in retrograde motion in your relationship sector and Pluto his second, when the Moon moves through from 7th June to 9th June it will be all about the past. Unlike Saturn, who will retrograde back in early next month to resolve old issues, Jupiter is more focused on missed opportunities and second chances.
Cancer June 2020 Money Horoscope
This is not usually an active time of any financial year but then the normal pattern was disrupted when Mars and Saturn returned to your financial sector in March, for a short and sharp push to take your financial power back. Saturn will normally spend three years in each area of your chart, as he did when he was last in your financial sector from 1991 to 1994 and he will do this again when he returns in December, then not leaving until 2023. What is happening now is more a practice run and a chance to use Mars’ financial passions and fighting spirit to pack as much into this as possible.
Mars left last month but not before spending nearly seven weeks fuelling your financial passions and fighting spirit and just two days after Saturn turned retrograde. Saturn had only been here for seven weeks when he turns retrograde and it will take him seven weeks and three days to retrograde back out, which he will do on 2nd July. This is Saturn’s first, last and only full month in retrograde motion in your financial sector and as he is only here for a few more weeks, he won’t go too deeply into what can be a chance to address or take responsibility for the past. Because Mars has not only spent nearly seven weeks fuelling your financial passions and fighting spirit but while Saturn was here, this has made it easier to take your financial power back.
Your financial sector is the side of the financial fence that is focused on what you do with and how you manage the money you have and with the most lucrative months of 2020 beginning next month, after Saturn is gone, this is a chance to first take care of any financial housekeeping. There has been no planetary activity in your income sector this year but that will change next month, with Saturn’s final month in your financial sector a chance to first focus on dealing with financial issues, learning from the past or whatever is required in order to take your financial power back.
Cancer June 2020 Career Horoscope
This is a month that begins with a variation to the pattern of what you would normally expect at this time of year already apparent but then a massive variation by the end of the month. Because the dwarf planet Eris has been in your career sector since 1926 and won’t leave for another three decades, the engine of your professional year never shuts down completely. However, with the last of the faster planets having left at the end of April and Eris slowing down ahead of her retrograde turn next month, June is always a month when you are preparing for the review phase that covers the majority of the second half of each year.
With the Sun not returning to your work sector until November, this is when you are usually entering the quietest point in any professional year. However, while there is still no planetary activity in your work sector, the South Node’s return last month means that there are new developments on the job front, which will prove to be a lot more game changing than you realised. Apart from working with its partner the South Node to police a balance between knowing when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off, the South Node’s focus is on completion and untapped income potential. Considering that lucky Jupiter only left your work sector in December there is plenty of untapped job potential to explore during the 20 months it will spend here.
However, the full implications will be felt when the Moon moves through from 5th June to 7th June, turning an ordinary Full Moon here on 6th June into a lunar eclipse. This is a direct result of having the South Node here and brings the potential for new, game changing or unexpected developments on the job front. If that was all this would still make this anything but your typical June but the Moon’s return to your career sector from 14th June to 16th June will provide clues to even bigger shifts ahead. It is Mars’ return to your career sector on 28th June and his position here until January 2021 that will completely change the dynamics of this professional year and in exciting ways.
