Cancer ♋ April 2020 Horoscope: Love, Money & Career

You may find that things feel different this month, with less pressure. For some, this might feel like a huge weight has been lifted and that you can breathe again. For others, this might be a subtle sense that you are no longer under as much pressure as you were. This is regardless of whether anything has changed in your life or not, with the same challenges now coming with a lot less weight. This is because, in the closing 10 days of March, first Saturn and then Mars left your opposing sign Capricorn and are no longer in opposition. To have both leave within nine days of each other will make the drop off more noticeable.

This will be especially noticeable on the relationship front, finding that all your relationships flow more smoothly. This comes just as there is an increase in social interaction and activity. At a time when ‘social distancing’ is the new norm, you are likely to feel more connected than ever. You might be finding creative new ways to connect but we live in a world and at a time when you can connect with anyone, anywhere on the globe. Facetime, Skype or any number of applications allow you to meet a friend for coffee on the other side of the world. This is very much a month that is about friendship and relationship building and this is a real positive right now.

Yet at the same time, Venus’ return to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart on 4th April is also a chance to embrace social isolation when you want to. This is always a time of year when Venus brings pleasure from stepping back, enjoying a chance to make time to hear yourself think. This is also a chance to take a nostalgic trip down memory lane. At the same time, with Saturn and Mars in their first full month in your financial sector, there is a real chance to take your financial power back.

LoveCancer April 2020 Love Horoscope

The big news on the relationship front is not what is happening or what is there to impact your relationships but what is not there. For the first time in over two years you begin the month without Saturn, the hard taskmaster of the cosmos in your relationship sector and with a relationship boot camp that began in 2017 on hold. Also missing is Mars, with the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos having left your relationship sector on 31st March, nine days behind Saturn. Where Saturn’s departure has taken a lot of the pressure off you and your relationships, Mars’ departure has left you with something to fight for.

Saturn is not gone for good and will retrograde back to rejoin Jupiter and Pluto here in early July. With both Jupiter and Saturn leaving in December and then not returning for decades, this gives the planet of luck and expansion a few months without Saturn’s restrictions and pedantic ways and instead a chance to work with Pluto, the planet of change and revolution. Mars aligned with both Jupiter and Pluto during his final 12 days in your relationship sector, so while you begin the month them aligned here, Mars’ passionate influence is there in shadow form.

Jupiter caught up with Pluto on 29th March and will remain aligned until 6th April, with their alignment peaking on 4th April. When you have the planets of luck and change come together, just as Saturn has moved aside and with Mars’ passion and warrior spirit giving you something to fight for, this is going to breathe new life and enthusiasm into your relationships. Whether single, in a relationship or between relationships, this is also a chance to draw a new line in the sand. In the meantime, expect a sense of romantic nostalgia to roll in from 4th April, as Venus begins a four month visit to a nostalgic part of your chart to begin a nostalgic trip down love’s memory lane.

MoneyCancer April 2020 Money Horoscope

Starting the month with Saturn and Mars in your financial sector are words last used in the same sentence in January 1994, which was the last time you had the ability you have right now to take your financial power back. Having Saturn, the hard taskmaster of the cosmos return to your financial sector is not something that you usually get excited about, for this would mark the start of a three year financial boot camp. That will be the reality when Saturn returns in December but for now, he is already slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn next month and will only just stick his nose in the door.

Saturn will sit around the entrance of your financial sector for the next three months, getting a feel for things and to give you a feel for having the hard taskmaster of the cosmos on board. Saturn is here to observe, to make you aware of where you are and aren’t taking responsibility and at the same time urging you to take ownership. It is the fact that Mars is here at the same time and that he isn’t sitting still, that is not just an advantage now but could completely change your reality when Saturn returns in December, bringing lucky Jupiter with him. Mars can observe what Saturn is honing in on and where there are things to work on but as he fuels your financial passions and fighting spirit, he gives you a chance to start taking your financial power back now.

You don’t have to wait for Saturn and Jupiter’s return in December. Saturn is a planet that can give you the power to move mountains if you have but if you don’t take responsibility he can create challenges. Having Mars here all month and to mid May is giving you a chance to protect yourself from the latter and start taking your financial power back now. Both Saturn and Mars are focused on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, but the Moon will create some positive and lucrative days this month, especially from 3rd April to 5th April and again on 30th April.

CareerCancer April 2020 Career Horoscope

This is the point in any year when the focus is on your career and professional situation, matters and options, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of any year in your career sector. This year there is something stripped back about this that is clarifying, transparent and for some a chance to see your professional options in a whole new light. The reason for this is that there is nothing happening on the job front at the time and this allows you to focus exclusively on career matters and that means a chance to focus on the bigger picture.

From 2014 to 2017 you had Saturn in your work sector, so while planetary activity on the career front was a boost on both fronts, you were never able to focus just on career matters. Then you had Jupiter in your work sector from November 2018 to December 2019, so this continued to divide your attention. Early next month the South Node will return to your work sector where it will not only spend the next 18 months but in that time create a series of eclipses. This is good news for job matters and professionally in general but it means that this time next year, you will again be looking at both job and career matters.

Mars only left your work sector in February so you have plenty of momentum and untapped job potential to explore and exploit, but until the Sun leaves your career sector on 20th April there is a chance to focus more on career matters as a whole. In saying that, the Moon’s return to your work sector from 11th April to 13th April will put it at a friendly aspect to the Sun, creating what should be some good days for job and career matters. With Mercury returning to your career sector on 11th April with a chance to get your head in the game and around your options, the timing couldn’t be better.
