The Leo in a relationship is a fascinating experience. They are wild and exciting, but they’re not necessarily spontaneous or thrill seeking. What you may already know about yourself Leo, is that once you have found someone to fall in love with, you are fiercely loyal to them. You will go to the ends of the earth for them, and you will do all that you can to make sure the relationship is healthy and happy. Now, this isn’t always in your best interests. What’s interesting is that when you’re first in love, you might be blinded to the fact that the other person does things you don’t like. You don’t even notice these things, and then you might wake up one day and you see them. You see all of the ‘flaws’ in the other person, and you begin to wonder why you never noticed them before.
If you get to this point, and you get stuck here, you might become frustrated with the other person. And you’re the type of person that will nag the other person to change, until they do change – or they leave. When you begin to notice that you’re trying to live someone else’s life for them, stop and think about what you’re trying to do. You may want to take a breath and think about whether you’re being helpful, or if you’re being aggressive and argumentative.
You will find that in love relationships, Leo, that you are much happier when you can get to the point of accepting the other person for who they are. Everyone has flaws and everyone will make mistakes. But when you can stop measuring everyone’s ability to live up to your expectations, you can start enjoying who they are. You might just enjoy their differences too, once you begin to see them as being just a part of who they are – and not something that’s ‘wrong’ with them.
Love relationships can sometimes be challenging for Leos, as they often have troubles when they don't have enough excitement. While you’re perfectly capable of entertaining yourself, you would much rather be out and about, having a good time. You need to be with a partner who is willing to be social, or you need to find someone who is going to take you out often. If you feel too cooped up, it can cause you to feel trapped in your relationship.
If you’re not already in a relationship, Leo, it might be a good idea to think about whether you have a skewed view of commitment. Some single Leos stay single because they can’t seem to see any of the benefits of getting married or being monogamous. If this sounds like you, it may not be a bad idea to consider what really scares you about being with just one other person. You might find that you’re scared of someone else not living up to your expectations, which is different from being scared of marriage.
