With everything that happened in 2012, Scorpio, you might be ready for 2013 to be a lot calmer. Thankfully, January will be smoother sailing for you. To make the most of this time, make sure you set aside free time in your schedule to reflect on the past year and to rebuild your physical health. You may begin to notice how your body needs more support from you, and there are many ways in which you can provide this support.
First, it’s a good idea to take your diet down to the basics. Try to focus on fresh produce and lean meats as the source of your nutrition. When you do this, you will find your mind is much clearer and that you are able to feel calmer. If you don’t eat this way already, try changing just one thing in your diet at a time, so you don’t feel overwhelmed. You can slowly incorporate fresh foods until you have a diet that’s as natural as possible.
You will also want to set aside some time for meditation. This is the practice of letting your mind empty of the thoughts you have rushing around. Try to sit in a quiet place for ten minutes a day. When you do this, try to keep your mind empty of any thoughts. If you start to think about anything, simply push the thought away. In time, you will find this practice is easier and that you can keep your mind quiet at other times of the day too.
It can also be a good practice for you to do something very physical every day. Try a kickboxing class or some other high-energy activity. This will help your body release any stress, and it will allow you to feel more present in your day. You don’t have to start out with an hour a day for this to be effective. Even ten minutes of exercise can make the difference in healing your body.
The goal for this month is to make sure your body gets more attention and that you allow it to heal from your previous stress.
