While there are many different ways to define this term, the best possible way to use personal signs in astrology is to think of these as the sun sign under which you were born – or the person who is getting their chart done. Since so many of us use the zodiac to determine the main ideas of our character, it makes sense that we might consider these to be our personal signs.
At the same time, someone might also consider their personal signs to be their rising sign and their moon sign. All of these signs together make up a personal profile that help to create some depth to the way that a person might relate to their world and to others. Though it might make sense for the person to consider one sign to be ‘theirs,’ it is also good to point out that no one profile or sign can encapsulate all of the things that a person is. And often, when we’re in interactions with others, then this is what creates as idea of who we really are.
