If the Virgo energy can be categorized, then this might be the sign that wants to be in control more than anything. This sign wants to be the one who knows what’s happening, who it’s happening to, and what might need to happen next. But the new moon energy in September is going to show that things aren’t going according to plan, well, at least not according to the plan of a Virgo.
When the energy begins to shift in the world, it’s only natural to want to hold onto what you know. This is a common theme in September of this year, so you may be working on this issue when the full moon arises too. Think to yourself about the ways in which you are limiting yourself by the way that you think about the world. In what ways are you holding yourself back with the things you believe to be true?
In this world, we all make assumptions about what is happening and what is true, but most of the time, we just accept what we hear. Since we were young, we were taught to trust others, but in these times of change, it appears to be a better idea to ignore this advice. Instead, focus on asking others what they think and share what you think.
If you find that others don’t agree with you, then strike up a conversation to see what you can do with this new information.
Additionally, it might be time to shatter one of your older ways of thinking and create something that is completely outside of your realm of possibility (right now, anyway). Think about what you think and then think about what you could do to change it. It’s true, you may not be able to completely shift your thinking in just a few hours, or even a few weeks, but you will want to start spending time in dialogue with your own thoughts.
Ask yourself, as a child might, why you think the things the things you do. Even though you might not have answers at first, you can begin to see how the way you think is impacting the decisions you make and the paths you’ve taken. Just by knocking on the doors to these old stories, you can begin to recognize that you don’t have to open the doors anymore.
With the new moon, there is always the chance to try something different in your life. Whether you decide to change the way you think, or not, you can begin to see that you’re more than just the way you think. You’re also able to change your consciousness at will, just by shifting the way that you think about the world. Challenge your ideas, Virgo, and you might just find that being in control isn’t as fun as it seems to be.
Let go and let the answers come to you. You can let someone else be in charge for a while.
