When you feel like your love life just isn’t doing what you expect it to do for you, it’s time to try a different approach. While you might have made jokes about the signs of others in relationships with you, there is more that you can learn from these signs and their meanings. Each time a person is born under a certain sign, they are infused with a certain set of energies that make them a complex and compelling person, and how you understand these energies can help you better understand your next partner.
Figuring out Sign Energies
In order to learn more about the energies of sun signs, it can help to look at websites and to read books on astrology. When you do this, you will be able to see what the most common energies are, and you will be able to understand what to expect from others. At the same time, it’s a good idea to look at the people who are in your life right now, love interest or not. They are going to have certain energies that you can then compare to their actual sun sign. When you do this, you may find that people’s versions of sun signs will vary, and this continues to inform you about your next love interest.
Testing Out Your Knowledge
Before you date someone of a certain sign, it can help to review what the sun sign is typically known to do and how they are supposed to behave. Before you go on the date, you can prepare yourself for any challenges you might encounter, while also remembering what positive attributes you may enjoy. When you’re on the date, you can see if the things you have learned match up to their sign, assuming you know their birthdate. Or you can simply note their personality and their demeanor before asking them what their sign might be.

With all of this in mind, you need to remember that certain astrology books and columns might tell you that certain signs should never be together. While there are certainly people who will not get along, to say that two signs will NEVER get together is impractical and wrong. Every sign varies slightly and you might find that you adore a fire sign, even if you’re a water sign, for example. The information you learn about the signs can help you in your understanding of another person, and help you see where you may need to adjust your behavior to help support their needs.
