Last year was a good and successful one for most of you. There was a great enlargement of your horizons. Your mind was expanded in many ways. For many of you this came from more foreign travel, where you were exposed to differ­ent lands, different cultures and different possibilities. For others it came through higher education. And for still others it came through what we call 'religious revelation' - where the mind is expanded and enlightened through the actions of a Higher Power. When the mind is enlarged, there is opti­mism. There are infinite possibilities in life. This year, your widened mental capacities are going to gain you practical and concrete results. They will not remain 'up there' in the abstract world - as concepts or religious ideas. They will be put into practice. The first result of this will be seen in your career, a very successful area of life in 2008. This year will see a lifetime career peak for many of you. You will reach the heights - the pinnacles. And as sure as night follows day you will see new pinnacles to be achieved after that.

Friendships and group activities have been important for many years now, and this trend is still in force this year. The whole area is becoming 'spiritualized' - refined - lifted up.

Spirituality has been important for many years as well. And this trend is also still in effect. Your true friends are your spiritual friends. The group activities that call to you are spiritual group activities.

Last year Saturn made an important move out of Leo into Virgo - from your 5th House to your 6th House. Thus the year ahead is very much a work and career year. A year for succeeding through hard work and sheer productivity. The breaks will come, but you will have earned them.

The other major headline for the year ahead is Pluto's move out of Sagittarius into Capricorn. Again this relates to the career, which we will discuss later on. But it also has health consequences. For Pluto is a very long-term planet. He stays in a Sign anywhere from 15 to 35 years! So his move is a long-term trend. This year Pluto is just flirting with Capricorn - he will move in and move out. But he will announce what is to come: upheavals in your corporate hierarchy, the blasting away of career obstructions, a revamping of your old order of life. Those of you born early in the Sign of Aries (from March 20 to 25) will feel this tran­sit the most; those born later in the Sign will feel it in coming years.
