This is not the month to hide your creativity or let others take credit for your work. Make sure you stand up for yourself and that your work stands out as this month and April are both periods when you are sure to be recognized for your achievements. This may not immediately result in a pay raise but you will most certainly see a direct consequence of this recognition by September.

Your life is exciting this month and you are going to want to burn the candle at both ends to get as far ahead as possible in terms of furthering your career. You might be full of nervous tension and the best way to work it off is to take part in outdoor recreational sports like skating, skiing and snowshoeing or if you live in a warm climate – jogging, swimming and hiking. Be sure to eat right and get plenty of rest to ward of late a later winter flu or cold.

If you are considering changing careers or starting a business you might see positive tangible results beginning to appear, especially if you focused on planning your business in the first two months of 2012. This newfound success might take a great deal of your time. Be careful to pay enough attention to loved ones at home or resentments could develop. The planets do not really favor your personal life in March and April so you need to do a bit of extra work every now and then to keep the peace. Yet another problem that might start cropping is jealousy from coworkers or those who think they have helped you to get where you are without having received a thank-you, credit or financial compensation. Be sure to keep your promises and explain everything thoroughly before you decide to get involved with people professionally. March is a month when people may overstep their boundaries to get their way. Be sure to say no and mean it if somebody is violating your personal sense of what is right for your life.

The same principle of establishing healthy boundaries and knowing when to say “no” to inappropriate behavior and situations is also going to be a theme in your personal life. Stay away from demanding, hypercritical and negative people during March as well. There are people there that want to drain you of your ideas and resources that so that they can succeed themselves. Be wary of any “free help” as that individual may be trying to steal your ideas and use them for their own purposes.

This is a month for you to start establishing your credibility and your authority. Your aim for this month should be to “be a leader and not a follower.”
