The last few months of work have been hard on you, Aquarius. You’ve seen things change in ways that you didn’t expect, and you began to see that you were more valuable than you realized. Others begin to compliment you on the work you did, and they were starting to talk you up to your managers.
What you might find out this month is that you’re going to take on more responsibility, even if you didn’t ask for it. You’re the person that people want to turn to, and you’re the person who has the answers, even if you don’t believe you do. When you are approached to do more, think of this as an opportunity, because it is. Think about the ways in which you can use your talents to help others.
It’s time to remember that when others want more of you, it’s because they know you can handle it. Even when you don’t think you can, remember that you are setting yourself up for a great career. Take on extra projects, stay later after work, and let others know that you want to help. The more that you can do this, the more you will be seen as a valuable part of the team.
Even though there are times when you might feel as though you are being taken advantage of, remember that you can always say no. There will be times when you will need to say no because there just aren’t enough hours in the day. When you do this, don’t worry that you will be chastised. In fact, others are going to praise you for being clear about what you can handle, and what you can’t handle. You’re setting a strong example for others in your workplace.
But when you can, make sure you rise to the challenges presented to you. The more you do, the more you will receive in return. A few late nights are going to mean more open space for you in the future. You are building up credibility in your company to get the job done, and you are doing it well.
